A/C works, but no cold air from the dash vents??

Last Summer I suddenly noticed that cold air stopped coming out of the dashboard vents, but the A/C *does* work and was on (I get very cold air on the rear seat roof vents). Air comes out of the dash vents, it just isn't cold, despite any console settings.

Does anyone know how to fix this, or if it's a common issue? I have a 2005 XLT with 160k miles. Thanks!

Does it come out of the defrost vent? There’s a vacuum line behind the battery that if it starts leaking it will cause the air to work but only blow out the defrost vents no matter what setting I’ve got the 04 xlt and had that problem about 2 months ago hope this helps

Air blows out of the main dash vents, it just isn't cold...

Hear any clicking from the dash area when you run the temperature control up or down ? Might be a bad temp door actuator. They are prone to breaking, especially when left in the Auto mode. The gears are just plastic and strip out.
