Right now I have 265/70/17 and 17" stock rims

I was going to upgrade to 1.25 or 1.50 spacers with 305/70/17 tires if they would fit

those tires should fit without the spacers or lift... cuz you can fit 33s on a stock 4x4.... and 305s are a big 31... so the spacers should push out the tire from the frame but then you would have to worry about the lower valance on the bumper...

What is the lower valance exactly?

the bottom plastic skirt that goes on the bottom of the bumper... if you get rubbing you can trim it away were the tires rub... I trimmed 1/2" off mine and no rubbing now

yeah I would look into tires first because with just doing a TT (torsion twist/crank) a 4x4 can fit 285/75r16s which are a hair shy of a 33" tire.... so with a TT and spacers any 33" or smaller will fit without spacers

I have 17" stock rims. I was going to go with spacers to get a wider look, like solisomos (might have butchered the name, I apologize). Also the Rear spacers will keep my green tortoise from dragging its rear

if you do a rear coil spacer and a TT I would go with a tire around 33" tall... it will also be wider than stock and the spacers will push the tires out a bit....

yeah like panda said, you'll fit about a 33" tire even w/o the torsion twist. I'm running a 32.6 inch tire (285/65/18) with stock suspension. I'm going to upgrade the suspension with cranking the stock torsion bars and adding a set of 2" coil spacers in the back. Hopefully I'll be able to fit a 34" tire or bigger.

Since you have 17in. rims i would go with 305/70/r17 (34x12x17). It will fill the wheel wells perfectly with 2in. spacers and cranked torsion bars. And you should have minimal rubbing if not none.
