I got a 98 parts truck to take the grill for my 2001 XLT
The 98 has a taller bumper with fog lights
To turn on the fog lights you pull the light switch with the headlights in the on position.
I've never had proper fog lights on a vehicle but i thought the idea was to have these low yellow lights that don't bounce back scatter from the fog. Seems to defeat the purpose if the headlights have to be on, right?
Anyway, I'll wire them up on the 2001, i may even take the light switch but It seems to me it would be better to turn then on separately and maybe install some better fog lights in the openings. Any suggestions?
