ac hose assembly

I have a 1997 eddie baurer with a 5.4, my ac hose assembly needs replaced and I found an nos one on ebay that has the same part number, but it has an extra port. my question is did ford change that assembly mid year?

the extra port is on the long straight tube to the right of the picture

I would be guessing but is that for the rear air evaporator circuit?

i don't think so, I have rear air

i think i was wrong about my rear air. mines has 2 row seating. does rear air mean for third row?

There would be a fan unit and AC evaporator coil behind the third row. Also independent blend and fan controls for the rear. Use your VIN when shopping for parts.
