I was thinking of installing a 12V auxiliary outlet in the rear inside of my Expedition. He’s anyone done this or do you have any ideas as to a feasible location and wiring issues?

Thank you!!

The cargo area has a 12v outlet and so does the back of the center console... where exactly do you want to add one?

If I was in your situation I'd try to just get an extension and run it from the caro area socket leaving all wiring stock and no holes to punch. Pictures for reference below

Really? I’ll look again. I haven’t seen one, I guess I thought it was part of some package mine doesn’t have. I did see the one on the rear of the center console. I like the extension idea. I was afraid of amperage draw but I probably won’t be powering anything that heavy.
