Hey y'all, just bought a '16 4x4 w/60k miles and have been trying to catch up on what I might need/want for it. One thing that keeps coming up is a catch can...What's the general consensus on these? Any particular brands/models that are recommended? Thanks!

60000 miles isn’t too late. Get one and clean the 3 MAP sensors. Jlt performance passenger side catch can $140. Won’t be sorry

Where are the other MAP sensors?, found the one on the intake manifold but don't know where the others are. Did you clean those with CRC cleaner made for sensors or what did you use?

One on Intake manifold, one on throttle body, one on intake tubing. All cleaned with Crc maf cleaner

Be gentle with them, dc your battery before messing with them, and don’t lose the screws

Thanks! Is it necessary to unplug the battery? Won't that reset everything on the vehicle? Couldn't you put them on a rubber mat to isolate them, or is static an issue.

Anytime I mess with sensors that relay info to a computer, battery gets dc’d. Just to keep it safe. You’d have to drain the capacitors to clear your keep alive memory which means battery would need to be dc’d and lights left on or something. Cleaning them takes 10 minutes maybe. Reset would take about 30
