I have questions about installing the power running boards to my new 2025 Expedition Tremor.
1. Are the 2024 Expeditions the same as the 2025 when it comes to mounting?
2. Is the SUV prewired from the factory or do I have to run my own harness?
3. Can the aftermarket boards be linked to the SUV and work the same as OEM?
4. Which aftermarket brand/supplier seems the best?

Thanks for your help!

Just picked up our new ride! Is the perimeter lighting only a manually on/off mode? We turned it on thinking it would be great when starting in a dark parking lot. But the lights won't go off once on from info screen. Even after 20 minutes there still on! Still would like comments on the running boards. Thanks!

Hey I just today picked up my new Dark Mater Grey Tremor. Love the look and stance over the KR and Platinum models.
I have always had Platinum F150's with power boards and I wanted power boards on the Tremor. My dealer priced out a factory set at over $11,000.00, Canadian, ya just dumb. They then put me onto an aftermarket shop they use and told me they would do whatever they could to help me figure this out. Looked at Rough Country which actually shows fitment for a 2025 X, AMP that only shows F150 and Boost Auto and they only show F150. After comparing the Boost Auto boards are by far a better built better featured and better wired board then the other two, plus the install videos are next level. Good work Boost! I really wanted the Boost boards so the Installer and dealer talked, and the installer brought F150 brackets and the Dealer put a stock X Tremor on the lift, and they tested the brackets to see if they would fit. I'm told they fit and so I ordered a set of Boost Audo power boards for the tremor. $3200 Canadian, I'm going to have them put on in a couple weeks as I'm doing a bunch of traveling with the Tremor. I don't think they are tapping into previously run power board cables, not sure if the cables are even there? The installers told me if they don't get them to work that i don't have to pay. They even said they may give me a big discount if the F150 boards do fit as they will start selling the power boards to other Expedition Tremor and Active units. Once I get them installed I'll bounce back with some more details.

Hey, quick side note. Anyone know if there is a mod sheet for the new G5 Expedition for the Forscan software? I really want to get the approach lighting to work and the fog lights to always come on with the low beam head lights. I hate having to always turn them on manually now, the F150 wasn't like that.

I will buy your oem running boards from you if you go this route. That may help offset the cost. I’m in Dallas, so perhaps possible to do a pickup if you’re nearby in OK.

I am genuinely curious to see how this works out. I actually prefer the stock Tremor running boards, but I have discovered that a LOT of aftermarket F150 stuff bolts right up to these, at least in the engine compartment. I will be curious to see how the power boards work out, and the fact that the F150 mounts bolted right in makes me even more curious about bumper options because there is NOTHING out there for the Expedition and I'd love to add a winch to mine.

I’m still hoping to get a test fit of these Tremor running boards onto my Timberline. If anyone in DFW wants to help a fellow member out. I’ll bring the beer!
