Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and this will be my first post. Yesturday I had the pleasure of picking up a 2011 Expedition XL 4x4. I am not familar with these trucks so I was hoping I could get some advice..

What I would like to do is add Ready lifts 3" SST lift

http://www.strutmasters.com/ReadyLIFT-SST-Lift-Kit-p/rl69-2070.htm

Also go to 35" tires (the kit says It will except these?) on the factory 17" rim that I would like to get powdercoated black.

My questions are, any one have experence with this lift? good/bad? will 35"s actually fit without rubbing? will a 35" tire actually work with the stock wheel width wise? also i previously owned a jeep grand cherokee and there were problems with the ABS on certain lifts, anything like this with expo's?

As I said before I am new at this so please go easy on me, any suggestions for lift set up and tire size/ and actual tire would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the response and the infomation its greatly appreciated...

when you say the 35"s will be tight, do you mean like first decent bump i take at speed there gonna blow off the rim? or there gonna be a pain for the guys to mount but will work?

also the link I put on there is from strut masters and they only allowed me to search up to 2009, but the kit says 2003-2009, with that being said, I actually looked at the kit you provided the link for and it says it will work from 2003-2011, so I'm assuming they both will work but do need to call strut masters on monday to verify.

Awesome rig you got there by the way

you might get away with 35s and a little rubbing. might want to trim off some plastic from the bumper and/or side step. easy to do and do it on the out side, just a little on the inside so its not visable. but 35s will fit. im going to put 35s on my stock wheels eventually. the tire shop will say its not recommended but it'll fit. image a red blood cell. thats almost what the tire will look like. 33s there shouldnt be any rubbing and 34s might have just a tad. but 35s would look good.

i havent had any issues on the abs. the factory wheels for me were like 7" or something and it stated for my tires to run a minimum of 9" so i switched. rptr00? i think his name was hooked me up with the proper wheel sizes to get it to work and all i had to do other was pull the inner fenders and cut a little on the front bumper. havent had any problems. i have a new problem with the electronic throttle control but that is a different story.
