I have one of these in my truck. Mine brought the 360 cams, but I am using this to mirror my phone to my Sync screen via HDMI and also to integrate a wireless camera that I put behind my boat while towing onto the factory screen.

If you do decide to take this route, I recommend you leave a cable plugged into it so you can access it easily in the future if you need to plug into it to update the firmware or reset it.
