I've got the Icon 2.5 all around on my 2018 Limited, and I love them. I towed my 10 foot equipment trailer with it with about 5K on it, and there was no sag. I had a 2014 F-150 with the Bilsteins, and I had more sag with those than my current Icons.
Shocks have virtually nothing to do with the amount of sag. That is all spring rate when talking sag. I am struggling to understand how the Icon's could provide more load carrying capacity AND a better unloaded ride? I guess with icons you could crawl under and crank up the preload on the spring everytime you wanted to haul something but valving adjustments aren't going to do anything about sag with a load on the hitch. The icon expedition springs don't look progressive to me but perhaps they are and that allows for nice unloaded ride and a little more load carrying capacity? I have progressive springs on my jeep and they work good at providing a nice ride and when I load up, the first stage "closes" up and the "heavier" portion takes over but it does sag until it gets through the first stage. It handles weight better than the stock springs did though. Nice coil overs are nice but with just one spring on the coil over you are still limited to that springs characteristics and sure valving can be adjusted but that doesn't change a springs load capacity.
