I installed a new CerwinVega double DIN touchscreen. Purchased correct harness and dash kit to install on my 2004 Expedition XLT, 4WD. It has rear volume and station selections only and no steering wheel functions.
Connected harness matching wires and omitted the three wires for wheel, antenna and Cam, as instructed. Everything was beautiful and flawless, until I finished. The unit does not power off? Not by ignition, interior delay, open door Nothing! It will turn off, if I manually hold the head unit power button, but I fear it could still be drawing power since the ignition doesn't seem the kill power to this location? There is a Factory Yellow and Factory Red, should these possibly be reversed? I don't want to damage anything and looking for experience with this. Thanks

the sonixelectronis reccomended, vehicle specific.
But after having in a while I noticed intermittent resolution, and started investigating further it appeared it would shut off when the passenger door was open after shutting off the vehicle. Or intermittently when the driver's door was open so I looked more of that and found it to be the driver side door switch, Works beautifully now. Thank you
