Keeping rear dvd with aftermarket stereo

2003 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer with Navigation. I am installing a new head unit stereo and I hooked up the wire harness to keep the rear DVD player but there’s no sound coming from the RCA jacks into the new head unit but when I hook it back up to the original factory stereo the DVD SoundWorks, any help would be great.

This is where Crutchfield really shines. Anything you buy from them comes with free tech support for life. They will work with you until the issue is resolved. I think I would have needed 2 additional adapters/harnesses to get the rear DVD working. I chose to eliminate it though.
