Brand new member and first time Expedition Owner. I had a 6.0 Excursion for several years that I loved, but I had to retire it for a Suburban. The Suburban had tons of miles and I decided to go look at a new SUV. It was between another Suburban or Exp EL. I had 3 requirements for my next pre-owned SUV- 2nd Row Captain Chairs, Powered Running Boards, and Navigation. It was hard to find!

Well I found what I was looking for last week. I bought a CPO 2010 Ex EL Limited. I was test driving it and one of the things that was a cool bonus is the A/C seats. I push the button to turn them on and the two lights blink on and then go off and the A/C does not come on (along with the heat is doing the same thing). I checked the fuse and it looks to be good. I unhooked the battery cables for a few minutes and reattached. I read that might be a fix. Anyway it did not work. Any thoughts?

If it's still under warranty bring it in. Had this happen to mine and they had to replace a ground wire at the control module under the passenger seat.

I bought an extended warranty and it is CPO so it has 12K btb. They said they would fix it.

Once you get those cooled seats going, you'll be spoiled. We love 'em, had them on our 05 Eddie Bauer, missed them a lot when we had a Buick Enclave. Your specifications were like ours when we were looking last year, power running boards, NAV, second row captain's and headrest DVD. Found it all in our King Ranch

Anyone have an idea how difficult this procedure is? Mine is still under warranty for about another year, but with a $100 deductible I haven't wanted to take it in just for that. They've already been repaired twice before and I only have 77,000 miles on my '07. So it'd be nice to know how to fix them after the warranty expires.
