Airbag light is on how to turn it off

Hello, Guys i'm new in this forum and i hope to find some answer to my problem. I have an Expedition 2007 Eddie Bauer and for some reasons i changes the carpet under the seats and after they return back the seats and all wiring the airbag light indicator turned on and it never flashes it is when i start the engine and it goes when I turn the engine off...so any suggestion to turn it off.....help help: happy160:

It would seem that either something came unplugged when you were working on it or a wire became pinched. The only way to turn off an airbag light is to fix the problem that caused the light to go on in the first place.

Remember those airbag systems get data from many different places. Seat position, seat occupancy, and many other sensors feed in to it.

I would recheck every wire and connection in the area that you were working. Some times a pin in a connector can slip back and not make a connection, so double check those connectors.

I did all what you mentioned...and nothing change..so is there any way to DISABLE the light for good.... because its driving me crazy (you know what yellow means) you can see it even during your sleep....so HELP

That light means that the airbags are disabled due to the fault.
You really do want to get this fixed.

You at least, need to get the code pulled to see what the fault is. It could just be a coincidence and the fault lies elsewhere.

SOLUTION FOR THE AIRBAG LIGHT FOR THE EXPEDITION 2007

Hello Guys
thanks for the good comments, last night i manage to find the problem and the solution, so there is a yellow connector below the passenger seat and it was loose so I re-connected and the yellow light went off..however i upload the photo of the yellow connector, and million thanks to Tonydiv for his comments that make be to look hard i find the solution




i will upload the image ASAP
