You can replace your stock amp(s) with any hi-power amp. Make sure your stock speakers can handle the wattage. If you want to replace your speakers, any 5x8 or 6x9 speakers will fit. go for the 5x8 just to be sure you have some space to move em around. I recommend Alpine. I got 4 new Alpine type S speakers on Ebay for $120. If you want crisp, go Alpine or Infinity. If you want to DIY, it's really easy.

I had a hard time finding a wiring diagram. I ended up using a diagram for a 1997 Escort or something. It was all the same wiring. You need to search what cars have the same wiring for the radio/speaker. It is easier to find for some other vehicles. If you want to put in a different amp, something storebought, the amp will come with a diagram. It is really simple. just power and ground, and connections for the existing speaker wires. It'll be much cheaper to have someone put in a new amp than put a new stock one in the stock location.
