This is my first post on the site. I want to say I've searched the site for answers before posting this. If I missed a thread I apologize. Anyhow, driving home tonight and the check air suspension message appears. When I get home I see the back end is jacked WAY up in the air. Looks like a stance straight out of the 60's. I've read a lot of threads about sagging suspension, but couldn't find anything about suspensions being too high. Any and all help is much appreciated. My ride is a 2007 Expedition Eddie Bauer.

My guess would be that the ride height sensor has gone bad. I had one of those go a few years back.

Does sound like the ride height sensor, used to see this at a tire shop I worked at when the dummy tire tech forgot to turn off the switching the trunk on Lincoln mark 7 and town cars. If you have a air ride switch, try flipping it off, then on. It might temporarily return the suspension back down. You can replace the ride sensor, or pay someone that has a air ride diagnostic tool to check it for you. Let us know.

I appreciate the feedback. Since I've posted this the old girl hasn't acted up again. I really should get her checked, as I'm sure the code will be stored in the system. I'll post up the results after I do. Thanks again for the replies.
