Those who have added or up graded your anti sway bar. Who's product worked, was well made, and installed without torch's? What product was a problem? This will be applied to a 2014.

None ot matters to his question though - the sway bar is a sway bar. I'd bet dollars to donuts all 2014s have the same. :)

To the OP - What does 'upgrade' it mean? Are you hoping to reduce body roll?

The body roll isn't really the issue. It seems to sorta float at times. Kinda not really planted. Does not do real well when being passed by trucks. I've played with tire pressure but no joy, factory tires. Going to do shocks soon and figured do both at the same time.

Coming from full size trucks maybe I'm expecting too much but I figure I'll be able to improve on what I have.

Actually I did give the required info in my post. If I have a question that's what I do. I just don't like clutter or signature's for that matter.

I hope that address's your concerns.

I'm guessing it's shocks or worn springs. Check the alignment, maybe?

Alignment was checked, was fine. It has under 15K on it, shocks look good no oil showing. But that doesn't mean much. So, a set of shocks and a couple of bar's might do the trick.

Apology is not needed. Nor is your snide comment.

The shocks I pulled off the front of mine looked fine until I got them off the truck. Then I could see the blown seals.

anti-sway bars will not help with the movement of of the truck from being passed by vehicles...semi trucks...especially if youre standing still...thats just going to happen...i have eibach anti-swar bars on my truck...regardless of who you buy...helllwig...ground force or whoever else this will still be the problem...the purpose of the anti-sway bars is to further reduce body roll and improve handling with turning...traking curves...etc...not to stiffen your truck from wind movement...i would highly suggest you still do the upgrade and you will notice a HUGE difference in handling...steering command...cornering...highly recommended...but you will still have the other feeling when being passed...as they mentioned to look at your shocks and whatever else

Sorry if you felt it was a snide remark. But by having a signature line it helps members know what you have without having to go back to the first post to see what your talking about.

Of all the members that have replied to your post you are the only one that doesn't have that information in every post. It is especially helpful to members that come on and look at the last page of a long thread.

And if you don't see or understand the purpose behind the signature line then I'll apologize for wasting your time.

Based on the amount of involvement that you exhibit on the forum, I would have thought that you would have been more supportive of the benefits of providing a signature line to better help members with their questions. Rather than changing yours.

I was going to leave this alone but...Given the number of post's that this forum receives I would think that post's such as your two or three to this thread does absolutely nothing to induce anybody to participate. Further for one who is so concerned about propriety I would have thought a private message or something along those lines would suffice but you seem to want to continue with what can only be construed at this point as petty BS coupled with lame apologies. So, rather than trying to be a net nanny why don't you keep your post's on topic. Do you have any input to the topic at hand? If not get a large cup of ****!

Sorry to the other members and mod's but... well, that's how I roll.

Thanks for your thoughts I appreciate it. The truck buffeting is at 65+mph. I'm thinking that a track bar would tie that part of it down. If you've ever driven a class C motor home, that is sorta what is happening, not that extreme of course but along those lines.

Hmmm.. Yup, the shocks are going, have to see what is available. This isn't going off road, I'm too darn old and my back won't take the pounding Thanks for the reply.

I really like the bilsteins. And they're not too expensive for our vehicles. One of these days I'll get around to the rears.
