I would have put the jaws of the needle nose right on the head of the screw and squeezed like hell and made it turn or I would have use the dremel to cut up the existing actuator until I got a tool on it.

Thanks Andy, Brian, Bobmbx, and flexpedition for all the input I truely appreciate it. This 'simple job' was not for me because I was limited in my tool department for this type of tight work. All the suggestions and looking at all the tools have me the idea to make my own ghetto tool lol. I tend to whine on here when things aren't going my way so I was kind of a pain I'm sure some of your suggestions would have worked I just didn't feel like running for more tools lol.

look up FordTechMakuLoco on YouTube... he's also a member here but not always active... subscribe to his channel... hrs a ford tech and makes vids of repairs and easy fixes... he covered this earlier this year or sometime last year I how to fix... he shows how to do it and that they don't take the dash apart which is what the manual says to do but still charges for it

I still say a swivel box might work but it easy for me I have every tool under the sun from my wrenching days

or maybe a 1/4" socket on a 1/4" breaker bar

you need something with an offset those ratchet box wrenches arent going to do you any good

Ahem... 1/4" ***BREAKER**** bar?????

Well done on the ghetto tool!!! If I had a nickel for every one of those I made to keep jobs out of my wallet, I would be drinking a free beer while I wrote this reply...

Cheers to you!

I feel like a swivel socket could have made this easier but I like the tool you invented. Whatever it takes to get it done!
