I've know guys in the car restoration world that have made a box, like a flower box, lined it with plastic and filled it with Evaporust. They then put the whole bottom of their door in the box and let it soak.

Maybe take the door panels off and spray a rust neutralizer around the pinch welds from the inside. Seems like it would penetrate in between better.
I've never had much luck with those rust neutralize or conversion products. Maybe I just don't know how to use them or something. They seem great in theory. Best results seem to be get rid of all rust and coat seal to keep water out. Coating with oil also effective if its constantly replenished. Best to keep from ever starting to rust to begin with. Once it starts its all downhill. I hate rust and corrosion
