Noticed my dash was warped in the center close to the windshield and brought it to the dealer. They called me today to ask if the car had been in an accident because “the only time we see this is when the airbags are replaced”. Have owned since and new and no accidents. Looks like the f150 has the same problem and is the same dash.

anyone here have the same, issue? I got a really weird vibe from the tone of the questions that they were looking for a reason not to cover the repair under warranty. would love to hear any feedback.

I just bought a 2018 that has the same issue. From research I’ve done, this seems to be a common issue with Expeditions and F150’s of this vintage. I’m outside the 3/36 warranty, so will have to live with it.

Sadly the dealerships often look to Ford Representatives to pull the pin on items after the warranty period is up. Just procedure. They don't want a warranty claim kicked back without authorization. Look to see the Ford Representative when he visits the Dealership. They have all the insight on items that are failures of design and quality of parts that should last during a period of use.

Yes, I have three same issue at about 8k miles. Warranty replaced the dash but what a nightmare. Took two attempts to get out right and the first one Ford shipped out was damaged, took 6 weeks to get each one.
