Anyone seen the economy cold air intake?

Hey all about a year ago I purchased what was described as an "economy cold air intake" it was like 20 bucks or something crazy cheap. Anyway I want to purchase another one for a friend and can't remeber where I got it and now I cant find the website has anyone here purchased the kit or know the website that has it? thanks for the help

best economy CAI is to take off the end of the intake pipe that downsizes from 4" to I think 3" and replace the end with a 4 inch rubber coupling... remove the silencer box and put in a k&n. IMO that's the best and way to do an economy CAI and will probably perform close to the expensive CAI.

thanks for the advice. I am talking about an actual cold air intake kit though I got it brand new made specifically for thde 5.4/4.6 Its the whole kit piping, mounting bracket, clamps, couplers, and a filter and it was like 20 dollars nothing name brand granted but It works and I would like to get another one I was just hoping someone else on here has one and remebers the name of the website. lol

A filter alone should cost atleast $20... I would be worried about the quality of materials you getting for that price. You may be saving money now, but to have a cheap filter installed will cost a lot of money in the long run.

Yeah I got the Kit the slapped a K&N RE-0870 Filter on it I just want to find the piping and stuff again at that price

Ok, well if you can't find the piping then consider my mod which will only cost about $5 for the coupling and IMO will be as good as any discount CAI and maybe even equal to more expensive ones.
