I'm thinking of getting some spacers to push my wheel's out an inch, but have never run them on anything...ever, so I'm treading in unknown territory.

Any advice/suggestions/places to buy?

I ran billet spacers on my Denali from ebay. I paid around $140 for all 4 and they worked great. Just make sure that you get billet with steel studs. Don't run aluminum studs or you could find yourself without a wheel or two.

I am running 2in spacers in the rear and 1.5in.spacers in the front. I bought thme off ebay, i cant remember how much i paid but they were cheap and they work great. The keep my tire from rubbing on the frame and give me a mean wide stance.

there are some race trucks in the desert that use spacers. but if you ever plan on jumping your truck or getting so air dont get them. but other wise youll be fine. i would get some billet one and make sure there are studs. some are just spacers and leave you about 1/4 inch to screw on the nuts.

I have very very small ones to clear my calipers and my steering wheel vibrates at 70+ I hate it. Will this go away if I go with maybee 1" with longer studs?

Yea my spacers came with the studs built in. They where more wheel adapters than spacers. I just a 5 on 135 to 5 on 135.

I didn't notice any extra vibrations, and I was running 22x10 wheels with 305/40/22 tires.

You might check and make sure you don't need hub centric rings to fix any vibes. Also some of the spacers come with the rings and if you don't need them then that could also be why you are getting the "wobbles".

It tells you in the description what studs come with the spacers. It says 12x1.5". But you might have to get more lugs to bolt the wheels to the spacers. The thread pattern on mine wasnt the same so i had to buy all new lugs. But you will like the stance those 1.25" spacers will give you.

I'm making sure they are steel and not aluminum studs. I think I'm going to try and find a set of hubcentric ones though, since these aren't.

With something as important as that i wouldn't cheap out. But I wouldn't mind an extra 1.5-2 inch spacer on the front. Give me that look I want. And help with any issues I might have with tire rub I might get when I get the 35s I want.

Oh ok yea steel would be much better. Mine werent hub centric amd ive had no problems, dont even know what the purpose of hubcentric is anyways.

I would recommend "hubcentric" ones... they have better reviews on grand cherokees... in the process of getting info to lift my father's 07...

but I have 1/4" spacers on the front of mine and no additional vibration on mine either

Alot of manufacturers use a hubcentric mounting "ring" to make sure the wheel mates up to the hub/rotor and doesn't have any vibrations due to a difference between the size of the wheels studs and the mounting holes in the wheel itself.

The other supposed benefit to the hubcentric is that it takes the stress of the wheel off the studs, as all they are doing is holding the wheel on, as opposed to keeping the wheel centered. I don't know how accurate it is, but that is what I read somewhere. And if I read it anywhere on the internetz it has to be true, right???:pepper:
