Audio an battery light issue

I just recently bought a 2012 Ford Expedition EL Limited an the battery light turns on at random times an the info screen flashes on an off like i just started the vehicle... than over times the battery light stops turning on an everything goes back to normal... the other day i took it thru the car wash an it started all over again... also the radio keeps cutting in an out when im driving but when im sitting still with the vehicle off it works like it should... are those 2 problems related or what can be causing those issues?
