I have a '24 Limited with 22K. Sync 4 is up to date with most current version. When I select a station on page 2 or 3 on the audio screen it may stay on that screen for a while but at some point it will go back to screen 1. (I'm talking about the ribbon screen at the bottom that displays the stations. The main audio screen that shows what is playing, artist, song, etc., stays appropriate.) The selected station is still playing. When I turn the vehicle off the next time I get in the station from page 2 will still be playing but the screen is on page 1.
The vehicle spent a day at the dealership. Ford told them everything is up to date but they thought the screed was too sensitive. (?) An adjustment was made but that didn't change anything.
Is anyone else having this issue or am I just the lucky one?

Just to clarify, what size screen so you have? 4 is the smaller screen and still has buttons, 4A is the big screen that eliminates virtually all buttons.

I wish I had what you have. I have the bigger on with 4A and have had lots of glitches. I cant help you, but at one time mine would randomly come on when i start the vehicle on a different channel, sometimes a channel we have never listened to.

Ive also had it come on in 90 degree heat with the AC turned off and the passenger seat heater on high. These issues all went away on their own and on some software updates.

And i just hate having to use the touchscreen to do everything. Using a touchscreen and having to sort through menus is just not good while driving.

Yep jjscsix! We are totally in full agreement with you there:

When we first started looking for a 2024 Expedition MAX, we wanted a Platinum model but we quickly learned that "all Platinum's" have the 15" screen, they all have the fully digital instrument cluster (not attractive to us) and they all have the flat-spoke polished wheels that are ugly, in our opinion. We then dropped down to the "Limited" which is available w/ the 12" screen, the A/C and Radio control knobs & buttons, the 12 spoke wheels that are so much more attractive to us and the instrument cluster (while slightly dated looking) is soooo... much better looking and pleasing to have in front of you, for us, anyway.

My daughter had warned us about the 15" screen being very difficult to manipulate (as you are driving along, alone) because every little ripple in the road makes your finger jump around on that huge screen, causing your eye's to be off the road for too long! She said she was becoming more adept at operating it by resting her hand on the side or top of the screen frame though. She had very wisely decided to drive a rental Platinum for a week before buying one, which ended up being a Limited w/ 12" screen. She says even now w/ the 12" screen, she has to be careful not to take her eye's off the road too long to make things function on that 12" screen, even while resting her hand on the screen frame.

It is so refreshing to hear other people on this Great Expedition Forum are of the same or similar opinions on many of these Expedition intricacies that bugged us, but we had thought that we were the only ones being too picky or old fashion, in our thinking and justifications! Thanks again jjscsix, Lance
