audio seems weak

hey all, my expy has an aftermarket kenwood hu... but the sound seems weak not full by any means, is there a possibility of the wrong adapter harness being used? or is this just a fact of putting an aftermarket hu in the mach audio systems place?

Did you just install the Kenwood ?
Is it possible the sub isn't hooked up to the new head unit ?

no i got it that way, and just seems lack luster compared to my old expy with the stock hu and the mach audio,

i will have to pull the unit out and see if there is a harness not in use or something
