I'm looking at Cragar 397's for my '99 XLT4wd and I see from the spec sheet that the 5x135 16x7 size has a 4" backspace, and I'm pretty sure that OEM wheels have a 4.5" backspace.
Anybody here have these wheels in this size or have any ideas on if the Cragar will work? It seems to me that the Cragar with less backspace will move the tire out 1/2" from the hub, so clearance from calipers, etc. should not be an issue, but fender lip clearance might be?
