Backup Camera Placement

Hello all,

I want to install a backup camera on my 2007 Expedition Eddie Bauer EL but I don't know where to place it for the best viewing. I've read that under the license plate, above the license plate, trailer hitch, above the third brake light, and some other weird places. Where is the best place to install it at? I want to have all the functions available to me so an obscure spot seems the least best place it should go. Any suggestions? I'm not worried about the wiring part of it, just where to best place is on the outside. Thanks.

What camera did you go with, and where'd you mount it?

For my 2007 I put it at the top of the license plate. Routing the wiring through the rear hatch and through the inside to the front. With a long vehicle I had to buy extra cable.
