Anyone have recommendations on aftermarket backup cameras (will use aftermarket stereo)? I've been browsing amazon but keep seeing reviews indicating super cheap low quality Chinese junk. Happy to pay for medium to higher quality so it is usable and functional. If there are no real world recommendations then worse case I buy one and wire it in. If camera sucks then buy another and plug that in. Just gotta make sure the wiring/connectors are interchangeable.

Be careful with this Chinese junk. More $$$ does not equal better quality, specially with dash cams, backup cams etc. only thing you can do is watching reviews.

Do you know where in the front of the vehicle the camera plug is? I removed my dash to do the AC evaporator. Everything is working great but I have no camera image. I feel like I missed a plug somewhere.

Is your backup 'video' in the rear view mirror, or in the head unit display?

If it is in the mirror, you will have to trace the cables to find it.

If it is the head unit, it plugs into the back.

This video might give you some guidance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6Sj3tnmUXc

This looks like the ticket. I get the same screen he has on his new Nav system before plugging into the back of it. I'm guessing mine got unplugged while pulling the dash out. Thank you for the comment.

Found it. I knew the color of the wires so once I had the head out I could see the plug. It runs to a connection point behind the glove box. It was unplugged. At that point the interior lights are part of that plug. Pushed it in and all is working.

Thank you
