Keep throwing a CEL… under STRANGE conditions…
Now it's getting HOT in So Cal these days….
IF I drive around town in the AM everything is perfect…
If I drive on the freeway round noon doing 75 for 40 min and get to my destination… everything is fine.
IF I restart the truck under 20 min...BAM throws code.
Truck doesn't idle funny like it's missing a hole or anything…
I can reset the code and life is good…
I can repeat the sequence like clockwork….
Vac is @ ~ 20hg
Someone put an aluminum intake on in it's past life…
No coolant hoses spraying stuff on the engine.
Do the back injectors get heat soaked and change resistance of the coil causing this " issue " ?
