FYI, sharing here for others benefit... A lot of videos out there talk about going through the wheel well to access sensors. For my 2016 Expedition Platinum 3.5L Eco Boost, getting at both were done from underneath. The Driver side bank 2 is unclipped from the top of the engine and using crescent wrench can get at plug from below. Pretty easy, although did need force to force it loose. Bank 1 on passenger side has the clip running underneath so can unhook from below. You can also access the plug from underneath with crescent wrench or O2 sensor 22mm socket, but this was the hardest part by far as it rubs against another part of the engine and wire wants to get twisted as you unscrew it or screw new one back in.

I definitely know how difficult it could potentially be to remove these guys. Fortunately, I just happened to have a set of SPD downpipes to install when my O2 sensor set of the CEL.

Of course I installed the new sensors on the new downpipes before installing. Was pretty easy… to include the downpipe removal. Can’t imagine how much of a booger it would’ve been to do it with everything installed. Doable obviously… more headache involved obviously.

Glad you were able to get it done with seemingly minimal issues.
