Long Road Trip...kicking down to pass (aggressively), transmission freaks out, loss of power, shuddering, and the dreaded big wrench. Halfway through a 2-day drive. Stop passing...just using Adaptive Cruise Control...no more issues. 55K...so nervous about CDF...but no further issues. Decided to wait till we get back...then pulling into a gas station, suddenly the "Disabling Electronic Limited Slip Differential" comes up. A few minutes later, it comes back up and says it has been reengaged. At the same time, the Voice in the computer announcing the turns gets a vocal fry, sounds mono instead of stereo, and hiccups a little.....What in the world is going on?

So, I get the kicking down transmission freakout as well, and can almost replicate it at will. I need to get it into the dealer again, first time I took it in they said "no codes and we can't replicate the problem." I also seem to have a bit of hesitation and hard shifting 3-4 and 7-8. It actually happens more often when using Adaptive Cruise than any other scenario. It seems to freak out when you are crusing and let off a little then jump on it to pass, it happened the first time on me when towing I was on a grade and was coming up on a slower truck and had to back off for half a second before mashing it to pass, thought it was a fluke as it never happened again. Then it happened to the wife while using the adaptive crusie, if you come up on someone and it slows down then you move over to pass and it accelerates to pass it does it (not everytime but it happened to her a couple times in a trip). We don't used adaptive cruise anymore because we don't trust it.

I believe the Electronic slip thing is a different issue but not sure what causes that. I had it pop up on mine recently as well, we were on a roughly 2 hour trip and not towing the trailer. It seemed very random and hasn't come up again and I just did a couple 4 hour drives. I am suspecting an electrical issue there but don't know for sure what is causing that one.

I haven't experienced the computer voice issue you mentioned...

I really wish I didn't still owe a ton of money on this thing...although not sure what I would replace it with. I have friends with the GM and Jeep comparables and both have issues with theirs too. Really hoping the extended warranty pulls through...

Check the battery.
the charging and BMS systems in these things are incredibly finicky.

Wrench while kicking down for a pass resulting in loss of power and me headed back through the slow lane (now going slower than them) to the shoulder, been there done that. Full transmission rebuild and the module was full of pages of codes. Six weeks without the truck. Good luck.

I very occasionally get the eSLD gear wrench (like, twice a year) but it resolves itself with an engine restart. Not enough to worry me.

However, it's in getting the transmission rebuilt as we speak for the harsh shifting 3-5 and 7-8, plus lurching out of P into R. Service Manager said it's being done with the redesigned parts, and that they can't even get the old style parts any more.
