Biggest Tires with TT and Coil Spacers?

what would be an exact metric size is what I'm asking.

You can run 305/70/18's, which are a touch under 35". 285/70/18's are a little over 33 -1/2.

Junior, all you have is the torsion twist and 2" spacers, correct?
If so what is your tire size in metric units?

Yep, TT and spacers. Mine are 285/75/17's. I stayed with a 17" wheel to keep the larger sidewall.

I'm running 35x12.5s with just tt, nothing in the rear. removed the lower portion of my front bumper as it was catching a little bit though. The tires I have are really agressive and wide. In a side to side comparison they are much wider than my buddies Mud Terrain KM2's of the same size.
Pictures? Also send detailed pics of the fabrication you did to the front end.

35s will fit. with little rubbing 33s will do better and 34s would look good too. use the site walnuts posted. since he posted it somewhere else ive been using it a lot. look up metric sizes and punch those in. it will pop out your tire size. works good too.
What is a good metric size that'll fit with little rubbing?
I'm looking more for width that height. Junior said had 285/75's but they don't look that wide.

They're not. They're only 11" wide. I should have got something that was closer to 12-12.5, which would be a 305-315.
The 305/70/18 works out to be 34.8x12x18

with 18s i would go with
305/65/18 = 33.6x12/18
325/65/18 = 34.6x12.8/18
but these are a little small
285/65/18 = 32.6x11.2/18
295/65/18 = 33.1x11.6/18
first number, width. second number percentage of width is the side. ex. 65% of 325 = from tread to rim. idk the exact number. and last number rim size. metric is harder to config cause as the rim sizes go up the more percentage you have the more tire you have. thats why some tires that are both around 35" in metric will have 2 different middle numbers cause of the rim size. say 315/75/16 = 34.6x12.4/16 its almost the same as the the 325s but with a smaller rim theres more rubber. make sense? let it sink in for a little bit. but use that site walnuts posted. its the easiest one ive ever used. you can make up tire sizes and it knows what it is. haha
also. not all companys make the same size tire. you might find a size you like but cant find it in the tire you like. so keep that in mind. you might have to change rims or do something else. just ask nvy. his new rims came with his new tires cause they didnt make the size he wanted any more. just a little advice.

I would recomend 305/65/r18, just like panda said. If you dont want to do alot of trimming and modifications this size would be perfect and it will fill the wheel wells nicely. But if you dont care about doing some trimming to the front bumper go with 305/70/r18 (35x12x18).

do companys make that size? i just got off what companys have. but like i said do your research on what sizes companys make and go from there.

Yea i went to tire-easy.com and put in that size and got four results. Nitto, MT, and Procomp have a tire in that size, but they arent that cheap. So im just gonna say go with the 305/65/r18.
Nitto Terra grapplers are good tire, pro comp sucks

Haha thats funny. I feel the exact opposite. I had a friend that had a set of 285/75/r16 terra grapplers. They lasted 18000, the worst tires i have ever seen, he was driving down the road and could hear chunks flying off. Just awfull tires. I have pro comp X ATs with 9755mi. on them and they still look new and they come w/ a 40000mi. warranty.

.... procomps f-ing rock... I've tried a lot of tires... building my old trucks and now this one.... the extreme ATs and MTs are awesome.... plus ATs have a 40K warranty... can't go wrong and when they used to have buy 3 get one free you couldn't go wrong.... plus my X-ATs are wearing awesome and grab better on snow and ice than my old swamper TSLs on my F150...and they are equal in mud to my old swampers.... the only tire I would get beyond these is a BFG but they are $$...Similar threads
