I’m 99% positive that that is all about spring rate and has nothing to do with dampening/shocks.

On the top is no lift, correct? Any rubbing at all under articulation with either setup?View attachment 41269 Got my expedition 5100’s installed today. Top setting in the front (~1.6”) middle setting in the rear (~.7”). Levels it out a little but still keeps some rake which I’m fine with. 285/70r18 ridge grapplers on factory fx4 rims. Top pic is before, bottom after.
Thanks for posting ALL the info! The Part#'s and comparisons are really nice to know. Thanks man. Yea I know that and ended up starting with the middle ring which was close to 1.5" taller than the Readylift. Stock setting matched great for the 4wd version. I have the 2wd shocks in the garage in case the rear came out lower than the RL kit as I didn't want any reverse rake.. but it worked out great.
The 2wd F150 shocks are about an inch shorter so close to the top setting may have worked..

Do these rub at all when articulated? On either stock or lifted?View attachment 41269 Got my expedition 5100’s installed today. Top setting in the front (~1.6”) middle setting in the rear (~.7”). Correct. They fit stock. There’s been no rubbing on road stock or lifted. Haven’t done any off-road to see if they rub.Do these rub at all when articulated? On either stock or lifted?
Is there any aftermarket solution to this , really like the way expys looked lifted but this gap almost ruins it , once you see it you cant unsee itWith IRS, the rear differential is fixed in location. The picture below was taken from in front of the rear axle. The bar with the red arrow pointing at it will pull the wheel forward as the wheel goes down.View attachment 40757
Can anyone confirm PN's for doing the 5100's for a '21 Expy. Do I use the F150 shocks from 21 or 20?
24-323680 shows for 21
24-248129 for 15-20
Can't seem to find the f150 fronts anywhere - has anyone found stock lately?

No, they’re adjustable 0-40 mm (about an inch and a half).Just out of curiosity, with the expedition specific bilsteins at the lowest setting do you get any lift? I ask this because I put the bilsteins on my xlt and didn't think it lifted it at all but when I got my 2020 platinum it feels/looks lower than my xlt was. It also feel lower when I try to slide under it. Just kind of curious if maybe I did get a little lift out of them on my other.
Both those black lifted expy's look nice. My xlt was black too.
Looks great! Which offset did you buy on your Method wheel? Also what is your final wheel diameter after installation?Bilstein 5100s all around at max height setting (Expedition-specific version). Method 316 Titanium wheels. Falken Wildpeak 275/70r18. No rubbing at full lock and everything looks to be in nice proportion.

The offset on the the Method 316 wheels is +18. The wheel diameter is 18 inches and width is 9 inches. If you're asking about the tire (not wheel) diameter after install, I haven't measured. But, the specs on the Falken Wildpeak 275/70r18 show a diameter of 33.4", which is a bit taller than other tires in 275/70r18 that I considered. As a I said, this wheel and tire combo fits perfectly with the Expy 5100s. I believe the Method 703s you're looking at do not come in an 18 inch size (17 inch only?) and are also a bit narrower than the Method 316s since they are off-road wheels. I really liked the 703s but wanted to go with an 18 inch wheel. Hope this helps.Looks great! Which offset did you buy on your Method wheel? Also what is your final wheel diameter after installation?
I am actually looking at the 703 with Beadgrip but want to get an idea.
