I am having the same issue where is the fan speed control module located?

Lay on your back in the passenger foot well area, and look up. A flash light might be needed. It should be something that looks like the picture in post 2.

I'm having the same issue with my Expedition. Just curious if anyone would know a part number, or is it c228a?
Can I get the module at a parts store (i.e. Napa/AutoZone) or must it come from Ford?

If this is still an issue for anyone, its cross posted over here and I posted a reply to my successful fix of this problem. Also a helpful video from a ford tech.
