Bluetooth car play for sync 3

Hi all, 2018 Expy and looking for the best advice on Bluetooth car play wireless adapter. iPhone 16 pro
Also anyone using Google maps and no sound for direction, so I have to keep looking at the screen!!!
Any help is appreciated.

I have two different CarPlay wireless adapters. Both work well with my new phone 17 pro, but both worked horribly with my 15 pro. It would forget BT multiple times a week. Unofficially I heard the 15 pro had BT issue. Toggling BT 3-4 times it would the connect.

My normal Carlink 3.0 and also
Ottocast AI3 I got this for Android apps, HDMI /movies for road trips etc.

Even a loaner 2025 Explorer had a few connection issues, and I chalk it up to Apple changing some minor things in releases and the adapter /vehcile not always up to date.

I have seen Carlink 4.0, 5.0, etc. Not sure what additional features they have but the 3.0 does all the things I need wirelessly.
