Hello,

I'm new to this forum, but I've been a member of the Explorer Forum for several months now. I've recently been assigned to Germany and purchased a 2001 Expedition XLT. I promptly bought some used 22" rims for it that do not bolt up. The Expedition from what I can tell is 5X135. I believe the rims (Akuza Creation 701) are 5X114.3. I can't find an adapter for them anywhere other than ebay. Does anyone know of a good location online that will ship to APO.

Also...I took them to a shop to have some brand new tires put on them. They measured my bolt pattern at 130 and the rims at 110. Knowing (from what I found online) that the Expedition is 135 i bumped up the 110 measurement to match. Can someone also verify my numbers on they expy? thanks....

I have a ton of questions regarding installing an aftermarket stereo as well...More to come...

your bolt patter is 5x135...ebay will be the best place to buy them...if you can...have a buddy buy them then ship to you or you can contact the seller on ebay and ask them if they will send to APO...make sure they are a high rated dealer...i dont buy from any dealer under 10,000...the higher the better and make sure you read their negative ratings...some ppl just arent happy for whatever the company attempted to do

Thanks! I went with ebay and wheeladapters.com as a backup just in case. I hate ordering things, waiting a week, and then the item isn't what I'm looking for.

Both sets of adapters work, but on ebay I could only find 1.5 inch thick adapters that would ship to APO. The 2 inch adapters from wheeladapters.com are the ones I'll be using. Didn't want to have to shave to much off the stock bolts...

I say "will" be using, because I failed to realize that the 14mm x 2 conical lugs would be a hard find in Germany. I found a shop that sold 14mm x 1.5, but no x 2's yet. Still looking...In the meantime, I ordered a set from Ebay. Thanks again!
