Brake Lights Intermittent

I noticed towing the boat this weekend that the brakes lights on both the Expedition and trailer would sometime come on and sometimes not.

It was almost like every third time they would not come on.

They all function the same at the same time.

I disconnected the switch on the brake pedal and then reconnected it and maybe it was just loose.

Any other ideas.

Make sure everything is clean (connectors, no chafing wires, etc) with the brake pedal switch.

How do you install the switch

Is there a trick to installing this switch? how do I get out and a new one in.
