Anyone knows how to program a new aftermarket key fob to open/close the rear power lift gate for an ‘08 Ford Expedition EL, Eddie Bauer. The lift gate works by pushing the button on the gate itself, but my new aftermarket key fob doesn’t work the power gate.
The key fobs locks/unlocks the doors and unlocks the rear lift gate glass, but not the lift gate itself.
I used the 8x off/on ignition switch sequence until the door locks sequenced, then push a button on the key fobs itself. That programmed the new fob to lock/unlock the doors and lift gate glass, but not the lift gate itself.
I don’t have any of the original key fobs.
Any help will be appreciated…
