bump stops

i checked the front end and noticed that the bumpstops are only a half an inch away from hitting on the frame, is this normal?

u have a 1st gen? cause on mine thats how they were. did a torsion crank and now further cause its lifted a little. but im going to cut mine and put in some air bumps.

yeah it is very weird looking. i was wondering that too. go over a bump hard enough it low a arm hits the frame. i have a few dents in my bump stops. if thats what you want to call them. haha

Just remember that because of the angle, a half inch at the bump stop can be 3 or 4 inches at the tire.

yeah i know. thats why i was thinking of putting some 2.0 air bumps in there. just to help a little bit.
