Bumper cover crack

2016 expedition el has a small crack on the upper bumper cover. I noticed something that looked odd around the area months ago, like paint was off a bit. Never hit anything while parking, no accidents.

Wondering if it was weak from factory and finally gave way.

I don’t see a crack, maybe a paint defect but there’s no crack. Take it to them and ask if they will touch it up at the dealer. Tell them it’s always looked a little off there. Most likely a stone chip from someone driving in front of you in the thruway hit it then allowed it to peel.

Ford is reviewing my claim...dealer looked at it (very quickly) and said they wouldn't warranty it. I escalated to ford directly...
