Anyone have experience repainting plastic bumpers CORRECTLY?

Please advise, are the main surfaces this more or less ready and just needs a pressure wash, or do I need to obliterate every trace of whitish residue even where it sits flat?

The plan is Duplicolor Primer + Duplicolor + SprayMax 2k Clear

PS i know the edges and the foglight holes need a bit more work and I need any protruding specks gone, I'm talking about the cloudy main faces

Looks close. Clean it, then test a section with the primer. If the primer sticks, then the paint will stick to the primer.

Ugh I finished painting it and a bird shat on it 3 hours later

Wonder if 3 hour old Spraymax 2k can withstand bird droppings? Probably not too well

Any idea how soon or not I should try to wash it off to minimize the damage?
