like i said it was 10 mins of drawing time total. got a little bored. its a concept drawing that i took a little more time into. and yes those are fenders. i liked the pointyness of them. even though they would look really bad in real life. haha but its still a concept drawing. and it is a little low especially since the truck would be that low but it would fit perfectly there.

I made mine fit into my bumper, had to cut out the body panel to fit, and I cut it out nicely but if I ever took it out im screwed. Took alot of work, and was hard doing it by myself but so far it worked without ripping the bumper out. Of course mine is an 03, has plastic instead of a metal bumper

Here is a pic when I first did it, I cut the body open wider to follow the grille lines better, but this was before that so body cutout is a little wider now

Was trying to copy the I am legend

I replaced all bolts with grade 8, and I think they were 1/2 inch but cant remember, but they were bigger then the original ones. I had to install the winch plate which was a pain to do, very hard to squeeze it in as it weighed a ton with nothing on it.

No the black one is the I am legend truck I was trying to copy. As you can see it looks like the same winch, but I used a cheap harbor freight one, I think it was a 8,000 or 8,500 cant remember it was a while ago.

damn everyone likes the brush bars. thats why i had mine. but dont want it anymore. im selling it if anyone wants it. but im keeping the fog lights on it so just the brush bar. but i like the way u did that winch mount. it looks clean, but dont take it off. o and im thinking of putting a 10 ton winch on the front mine. why? why not? sure i like the desert and going fast, but damn these expeditions arnt the lightest of vehicals to be starting off with so whts an extra 100+ lbs on the front.

If I had the older expedition I would of used the baja bumper, there is a member here that put one on, you drill it into the steel bumper. Those look really good and easy to put lights on it.

I also have the rear tube bumper to match, and installed lights in it for backing up

i like your expedition. the looks of it. it fits perfectly and nicely done. where do you go off roading? it looks somewhere close to the boarder. your expo almost looks like a boarder patrol truck. i like those old fire trails, but no where close unless u go east about 45 mins then south. and i think im going to just make me a new bumper. i have an idea and i might roll with it. and if it works and it looks good i can make more for people. even the 2nd and 3rd gen if those owners want one. but i would need their truck to make the measurements and everything.
