okay so i had a Flowmaster muffler installed at a local shop, they cut out the old one and welded the new one in place. But now as the truck sits in my garage theres a definite smell of something burning. Smells like plastic to me, but any way I crawled under there to see what the deal is and I don't see anything discolored or melty.

Could it just be that the welds are smelly or something?

Could be the oil on the new muffler, I think some have a thin layer to keep them from rusting, not exactly sure.
