Now that the new wheels are on the calipers are very noticeable. They're not awful but I'm not sure I want to pull the calipers and hangers and invest the time in painting them properly. Has anyone used caliper covers (like MGP) and liked them?

my wife's 2008 edge was red and we cleaned the calipers and painted them with a high quality red ceramic paint to match the cars color.
they looked good behind the 20"s.
thought about painting my expy calipers to match the caribou paint color of the lower valances, or the tri color white
just really hasn't been a priority

i guess if you paint them some hideous color then it would be cheeezzzzy

Don't paint them red or bright yellow like its a performance car.... its not, its a 3 ton Expedition. No matter how agile those turbos make it. That would be cheesy. But if you made them black, white, or caribou then I reckon it would look pretty good. I think black would look the best though because it would fade into the darkness of the wheel well.

I gotta agree with Hayes for exactly his reasons. Bright red, while being a nice Brembo color and looks great on a Ducati....might not belong on a Beast truck....like J, I'd go with a darker color.

I had the MPG caliper covers... check my photos they should be in there... don't waste ur money... they look good from a distance but they're not worth the money... mine were painted to match my truck and had my name on them... close up u can see how cheesy they are... paint Ute calipers instead or buy brake kit

Black or silver if you are over 21. Bright colors are Cheesy, like rice burners with wings, fake HID headlight bulbs, fart mufflers and smoked taillights. The front of rotors, just behind wheel always rust in northeast. Certain wheels expose all of that, dirty mess.

If I was in a caliper painting mood, I'd paint them the same colour as the truck. Or rainbow stripes with pink polka dots.

I'm 44.. not looking to turn anyone's head but my own. I love my truck! I found some brush-on black self-leveling caliper paint, I'll go to town on them next time I change the brakes or when I can't stand it anymore, whichever comes first.
