Good morning; just completed a timing/phaser/roller follower/oil pump replacement on my 2012 expedition 5.4 3v. Missed reconnecting the tps sensor on first start; realized it and hooked it up. Runs smooth but is throwing cam position codes for both banks. Clear the check engine light and no code for first start/drive, then second start it throws the same code again. Shop says the timing is wrong, I did it using the Makuloco videos so I’m 99% sure it’s timed right. Im stumped. Anyone ever see this before? Thinking maybe I damaged the tps sensor somehow when I started it the first time; I have cleaned the throttle body and reset the computer; same issue.

Also it does idle a little rough even after the computer reset so that makes me think it might just need a tps.

Did the colored chain links line up correctly with the timing marks on all sprockets during reassembly ? Those codes are specific to a timing issue, not a throttle position issue.
