I have a SWB version and am looking for a rollable cargo mat. I'm currently just using a furniture blanket in the cargo area, but it's getting shredded. Anybody have a good cargo mat for the entire cargo area that can be rolled up when the 3rd row needs to be used?

Are you handy? Get one or two of those office entry carpets from office depot or whomever isn't bankrupt yet. You will know what to buy because they're really thick, tough yet roll tightly. Get a staple gun & overlay it on your existing upholstery. Make sure you also put the carpet over the edges & staple the other side so a snag doesn't happen & rip up all your work.
If you make cuts and staple just over the factory carpet just like how it is (with the flaps) you can deploy the 3rd row w/o having to remove anything.
Remember, this is just my theory. If it weren't for the fact I'm building my own sliding (tilting) shelf in place of the jack cover I'd do it just for fun because your idea is awesome I never buy cargo covers because they kill the versatility.

I was going to buy a WeatherTech one for my wife, but we hardly use the 3rd row. Not sure that works in your case.

Been using the same set of Husky mats since 2007 in my former 2007 and current 2017 Expeditions. Originally bought them to keep mud off the floors when camping but just left them in all the time. 11 seasons and they're still back there (just confirmed the brand).

The cargo cover in the 3d seat area will roll up behind the 3d seat but uses up most of the small storage space back there. Since we rarely use the 3d seat it works out fine. Just be aware.

I have the full-length Husky (that goes to the back of the second row) in the back of mine. When I need to use the third row, I just bend it up against the seat so it acts as both a floor and seatback protector. It’s plenty flexible enough for it. Sticks up above the seat some, but not enough to worry about. image.jpg Keep in mind mine is an EL, so a SWB won’t stick up as far.

No, the Weathertech doesn't roll up. Do, if we're out and end up picking up additional people, I'd have to pull out the cargo liner or store it on people's knees.

Now, I hadn't thought about just bending it up. That could work.

I spent $20 at Home Depot on an office/entryway type mat and then just cut it to fit.. They're thick and pretty tough.

When I wrote I roll mine up it looks like the above photo just half the height 'cuz it's half the length. Note the lip on that one (and mine). Invaluable when (not if) something spills.

I transport rehab power wheelchairs on a regular basis, and didn't want the wheels to rip up the carpets, so I went on Ebay and purchased a 4x6 diamond tread rubber mat 1/8" thick. It needed a couple good scrubbings with dawn detergent, and left out in the sun to "gas off", but it rolls up nicely when I have to use the second row seats, and I'm considering gluing some velcro to the bottom, so it just folds up with the seat backs. Here's a link for the one I bought.
