Replaced the fuel pump: no big deal things happen
Needed a new actuator motor
Then last Wednesday the thing starts overheating randomly.
I shut it off and got to looking around. Not one drop of coolant.
Walked to buy some coolant, filled it up and then drove back to the office.
Saw a substantial leak after parking it.
Came out 4 hours later and again no coolant left.
How does a leak start that fast!?
So I fill it up with coolant again and drive it straight to the shop.
Apparently the intake manifold is leaking. $@@"!))&
Could the leak, that cause the coolant to drain, be a product of changing the actuator a few weeks ago?
The rapidness of the leak makes me suspect that it is not, but I'm tired of dropping cash on this thing.
Fixing the intake manifold, detailing it and then selling it.
My wife still wants an SUV...so Toyota or Honda here we come.
Jeep and Ford SUV's have not been kind.
2001 EB 4WD 5.4 with 163k on it.
Is this just a product of a 13year old ford?
