2000 Ford expedition eddie bauer 2WD 4.6L
I'm in California both the evap and catalyst mon aren't ready. But I can pass the smog check if I simply pass/ready the Catalyst monitor because aslong everything is ready the EVAP monitor it okay to "fail". I've idle my car for like 2-4 minutes and driven in stop and go traffic and on the freeway at a steady speed and the catalyst mon still isn't ready.
I heard one trick.....just have the gas tank full
The other trick I heard is after you finish idling the car rev the engine up to 2000 rpm for like 2-3 minutes and rev up to 3000-4000rpm for aslo 2-3 minutes with fail.
Third thing I heard is that you have to do this at least 5 times.....although I doubt it
But in you guys experiencing this, is there a trick that you guys did that made the catalyst monitor have a green light. And can give me ideas
