I decided to change my thermostat cause it was stuck open, so I changed it and now I have a flashing CEL and sounds like it is missing. I think I may have got the COPs wet, is there any way to rectify this? thanks!

get it scanned. see what coil it is. go buy a new coil and replace it. if that didnt fix it then it could be the plugs. but start with the coil. they dont like water too much.

would it be worth it if I took out the COPs on the thermostat side and dried them and blow out the spark plug well with compressed air?

I would give it a shot, also, pull the negative battery cable while your at it, reset the cel, and let the ecu relearn everything, it does fix problems sometimes.

Thx guys, these are relatively new COPs...but I would have to wait till Friday to get them changed out and I have to coach my kids football so I cant really wait around to get them fixed :)

Ok so I pulled the COPs on the side where the thermostat was...all are dry. One thing I found very peculiar was that the top of the #4 COP and connector were covered in antifreeze. Completely opposite side of the thermostat. I found that the hose with the T-split in it has a hole in it. Great! Now, the thermostat I pulled from my Expy was stuck closed. Now that I have a functional thermostat, could this have caused the hole to drip more in the heater hose causing my COP to go bad?
