Hello, forgive me if this has already been asked and answered but since it didn't show up in search I figured let me post.
Anyways, I have a 2003 Xlt XPy..
The front seats are 40/60 (powered driver seat) I've been trying to find out if its possible to swap out the passenger side seat and replace with captains seat and center console without requiring any drilling or other major work.
If so does anyone have any recommended companies to go through? (JC Whitney, etc..)

thanks in advance..

Check Ebay for King Ranch/Limited Seats, the center console should mount right up to the seat brackets. JcWhitney is a ripoff btw

I'm doing the same front seat row swap. Are the 40/60 driver's seats the same as the 40/20/40 buckets? In other words do I need to buy the whole row (seat/console/seat) or can I re-use my original driver's seat, and just buy the console and right seat?

Some things are not as obvious as they appear, which is why I asked the question to begin with. Fortunately the 40/60 seat to 40/console/40 is dirt simple, assuming you're doing a swap to same trim and color seats.

The answer to my question is, keep the driver's seat, and buy only the console and passenger seat.

I've not done this before, and I'm not a big car guy, but I've been around in a garage so I kinda know what to expect. This job took me about two hours, including mucking about with the power plugs as I tried to save them for re-use. Like I said, it's dirt simple. Here's how I did it:

1. unscrew the 5 bolts holding the "60" seat down with a t55 star socket.
2. unplug the two electrical plugs from under the passenger seat.
3. pull out the seat.
4. slide out and remove the ash tray/cup holder thingy. the detents are accessible from the top.
5. remove the harness for the slide tray's power outlets. you'll want to decide which is better, your old ones, or the ones that came with the console.
6. remove the four 7mm screws that hold the tray bracket in place and remove the tray bracket.
7. install the console to the dashboard with two 7mm screws. The forward section of the console will align with the nipples that located the old ashtray bracket. I've not figured out where else the console box secures yet.
8. install your power outlets to the console's tray insert, plug in the harness, and pop the tray into place.
9. the fourth hole for your passenger seat is covered with carpet. Cut a circle through the carpet around the hole.
10. Install the seat with four bolts.
11. other than the fasteners at the floor for the base that I've yet to figure out, that's done.

Check the salvage yard. It'll probably be cheaper than trying to ship it up here. I'm in the same boat but the dash is slightly different too and I don't know how fitment is going to be. Looks like it will work just won't be able to use the cup holders and/or outlet if I'm seeing it right. Personally I'm probably going to sell my expy and upgrade to a third gen or just an EB.

So, now I have surplus pristine 60/40 bench seat, both belts, and the ash tray/cup holder. I just paid $300 for a right seat, and $125 for a console. If you want it for $200, send me a PM (soon) and I'll send you couple of pics

BTW, I learned that there's a bracket at the floor to hold the console down at the rear. I don't have that bracket, so I'll be looking for one. New, OEM from the dealer they run $50 or more. I think I'll fab something up, but I stilll need to find where they bolt to the floor under the carpet.
